Pratt running for re-election

Wilson County Assessor of Property Jack Pratt, Jr. officially announced his candidacy for re-election Tuesday, July 17.

“It has been my high honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Wilson County.  When I was elected in 2008, I promised to have an open door, give equal and fair appraisals, and to work as hard as the people of this great community.  My staff has worked diligently to deliver on each and every one of these pledges.  I feel the Assessor’s office belongs to the people, and they should always be treated with dignity and respect.”

In seeking a second term, Pratt promised to continue to be accessible and work to make the office more efficient.

Pratt also wants to build upon the technological advances achieved during his first four years.

Pratt also announced the appointment of R.D. Denny as his campaign Treasurer.

Denny is a long time Deacon at First Baptist Church in Lebanon and is employed with Lee and Lee Attorney’s at Law also located in Lebanon.

“I have known R.D. for a number of years. He is a man of high moral character and someone I trust to be in the role of Treasurer.”

Election Day is Thursday, Aug. 2 and early voting started on Friday, July 13 and ends on Saturday, July 28.

“I would appreciate your vote and support.” Pratt concluded.
