The Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center will hold the Spring Gala sponsored by Modern Woodmen on Saturday, March 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane.
The dinner will include a choice of prime rib or baked chicken dinner compliments of the morning Rotary Club of Mt. Juliet. The morning Rotary Club is an ongoing supporter of the senior center and this annual event.
The event will also feature a dynamic silent auction. Some of the items will include; sports memorabilia, autographed celebrity gifts, health and beauty baskets, art, cooking & home décor, jewelry, entertainment and services gifts. So come prepared to shop and enjoy and delicious meal and wonderful entertainment. The event will be emceed by Tom Grant. The Gala will also feature the music of Los Vatos Locos (music of the 50s – 80s).
The cost of the event is $25 for senior center members, $40 for non-members, and a business table of 8 for $300. The community is invited to participate!

The mission of the senior center is to provide a place for older adults (55+) to gather for recreational, educational and social activities and to alleviate isolation and loneliness among the elderly. The center currently offers over 80 programs in Arts & Crafts, Drama & Music, Recreation, Education, Socials, Wellness Programs and Special Events. There is something for everyone at the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center, the place, “where friends meet.”
