Several June activities at MJSAC

June is filled with activities for members and some free activities for the community at the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center located at 2034 N. Mt. Juliet Rd. Mark your calendars for fun!
Thursday, June 6 from 5-7 p.m. – Third annual Art Gallery Reception, “Sights and Scenes of Mt. Juliet.”  From historic views of the early train station and downtown scenes to special sights of today, you won’t want to miss this unique exhibit by Instructor, Sally Murphy and the talented artists of the senior center. Many pieces will be available to purchase. Light refreshments will be served. Music by harpist, Becky Walker.
June 14 10-11 a.m. – “That’s My Life”. Deborah Wilbrink will present, “How to share and save your stories.” The event is free and open to the public. Call 758-9114 to sign up.
June 15 5-7 p.m. – free Concert with Cookie & the Monster – Wanda Weatherbee sings classic hits like Imagine and Bobbie McGee. The event is Free however, we will pass the hat for the entertainment. Bring finger foods to share. Beverages provided.
June 24 – 1-3 p.m. Liz Farrar teaches Bob Ross painting class. The fee is $25 and supplies are included. Call 758-9114 to sign-up.
