Ava’s Splash Pad is a memorial tribute to young Avalyn Shaye Bright who passed away three years ago due to complications following a tonsillectomy. Since that day, Ava’s family has worked tirelessly to create the Avalyn Shaye Foundation which raised over $80,000 to contribute to this splash pad which will bring so much joy and laughter to the children of Mt. Juliet.
“Ava’s Splash Pad is an amazing contribution to Charlie Daniels Park. It’s an honor for us to celebrate what a wonderful child Ava was and to carry her memory on for her family and the community.” Rocky Lee, Parks Manager
This event is free and open to the community. Water activities are recommended for ages 5-12, but everyone is welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their legal guardian sign a waiver in order to participate. For more information please contact the Mt. Juliet Community Center. Phone: (615)758-6522.
