One of the oldest Auction companies in middle Tennessee will help say goodbye to one of the oldest companies in Mt. Juliet next week.
Bill Colson Auction & Realty will handle the auction of Garr’s Rental & Feed, which will include many of the rental items that Garr’s had, and much more.
“There is going to be a void in the community,” said Bobby Colson, who lives in Mt. Juliet.
Colson said Garr’s was a gathering place for the community, and he would always run into people he knew, sometimes people he had lost connections with. He said that it will be hard to replace all the good work Garr’s did for the community.
All the equipment that Garr’s rented will be auctioned off. Some of the items will be a 2005 Chevy 4500 Dump Truck, two 753 Bobcats, Terramite T5C, 4400 John Deere 4×4 Tractor with loader, tools, equipment, trailers, warehouse shelving, wedding supplies, hardware and gardening supplies.
“Bid high and bid often,” said Colson. “Let’s send Garr’s out with a bang.”
