Debbie Melvin, life-long resident of Mount Juliet who has been selling real estate throughout the Wilson County area for the past 27 years, will be celebrating her one year anniversary Aug. 16 at RE/MAX Exceptional Properties in her hometown.
“The time was right,” says Melvin, “I had thought about this long and hard, and with the current upswing in the real estate market, I was confident that it was the time to realize my dream of owning my own real estate company.”
Melvin, formerly of Coldwell Banker Barnes in Mount Juliet, believes that the global RE/MAX brand and what it stands for helped to establish her new agency quickly. “I believe that RE/MAX exemplifies the vision I have for my company: Exceptional people, exceptional service and exceptional properties. It has been a delight to work with Aaron Dwyer of RE/MAX Regional Services to finalize my plans.”
Throughout her professional real estate career, Melvin has specialized in both new construction and selling existing homes, but her company, RE/MAX Exceptional Properties, will be able to assist home buyers and sellers in many different categories.
“Mount Juliet is a great city. For the past three years, it’s been ranked in the top 5 ‘Most Business-Friendly Cities’ in Tennessee and we’ve seen major growth in new businesses and people moving here from all over the country,” notes Melvin. “We’re close to the Nashville International Airport, near outstanding public and private universities and wonderful interstate access from I-40 and I-840. We are very excited to have the honor of helping families find that special place they will call home.”
