Mt. Juliet has been underserved in the field of pediatric dentistry, but offices like Middle Tennessee Pediatric Dentistry are changing that.
Located in the Caldwell building across from City Hall and the Police Station, Dr. Bryan Byrnside, DMD is giving the people of Mt. Juliet another option for their children’s dentistry needs.
“This is one of the fastest growing areas in the state…,” said Byrnside. “It was underserved…Made perfect sense for me.”Middle Tennessee Pediatric Dentistry is a small operation with only four staff members. The offices are not only beautiful, but offer a sense of comfort to children who may be nervous about going to the dentist.
“It’s a little bit slower pace here,” said Byrnside, who wants his office to have a more personal touch. He says that he wants patients and their parents to see the same people every time they come. That way, they are more comfortable and know what to expect each time they visit.
“It’s about building relationships,” said Byrnside.
Middle Tennessee Pediatric Dentistry offers basic preventative care. Their X-rays are all digital, so if you need to send the X-rays to another office, it is very easy to do so. They also offer in office sedation for children who have trouble going to the dentist.
They also offer hospital dentistry and have agreements with Summit Hospital and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
