If you live out in the area from Curd Road out to Highway 109, there aren’t a whole lot of options for dining out.

Luckily, Good Times Restaurant & Bar is now open.

The restaurant is open across from West Elementary, and offers many options.

For breakfast you can get things such as biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, sausage or country ham with prices ranging from $1.29 to $4.59.

Regular menu items includes things such as cheeseburgers, BBQ sandwiches, bologna sandwiches, hot wings, pizza, chili, chili dogs, nachos and cheese sticks.

You can get a personal pizza for just $2.99. Cheeseburger combos, BBQ sandwich combos, catfish sandwich combos and 10 hot wings combos are just $4.99.

“Our prices are cheaper [than most places],” said owner George Sadek. “We also buy our food from premium vendors.”

In addition to the food, Good Times has plenty of beer to choose from.

Draft beer is $1.79, a 16-ounce bottle is $1.99 and imported beers are $2.49.

There is a happy hour everyday from 4 to 7 p.m. and all day Sunday. During that time, draft is $1.49, and any two 12-ounce bottles are $2.99.

On Friday, while you enjoy the food, there is live music to keep you entertained.

Sadek said the restaurant is very convenient as it is the first that you pass if you are coming from Highway 109 into Mt. Juliet.

He said they have a comfortable dining area, and plenty of places to park outside.

Good Times Restaurant & Bar is attached to Twins Market, so you can stop in for a bite, then pick up something on your way home.

Good Times Restaurant & Bar is located at 840 Lebanon Road, across from West Elementary. They can be reached at (615)553-2156.
