A restaurant that has made its mark in Cool Springs and Bellevue, is now set to make a name for itself in Mt. Juliet.

Jonathan’s Grille opened its upscale sports bar restaurant recently, and Mt. Juliet residents are finding out about what people in Cool Springs and Bellevue have been talking about for years.

“Our real emphasis is on the food,” said Partner Mason Revelette.

Revelette said the majority of the restaurants in Providence Marketplace are chain restaurants, while Jonathan’s Grille is locally and family owned.

“They do what they do, and they do it well, but we are doing something different,” said Revelette.

Revelette said that Jonathan’s separates itself from other sports bars because they focus on giving a nicer quality meal. There are no plastic baskets and paper lining for the food.

Jonathan’s is classic American fare, but Revelette said they try to incorporate healthier options on their menu, such as wraps, salads and fresh fruit.

“We want to be the local’s place,” said Revelette. He said that he hopes that the Mt. Juliet community continues to grow with them. In the Cool Springs location, he said there are people that come in everyday, sit in the same spot, and everyone knows them.

“I know it’s cheesy, but we want to be like ‘Cheers,’” said Revelette.

Jonathan’s Grille has put a lot of thought into the layout of the restaurant. In the front, there is the dining area, and a patio out front. It is separate from the large bar area, which also has its own patio. Revelette said it’s good to keep the two things separate so you can have the best of both worlds depending on what you want your dining experience to be. There is also a private room for parties up to 20-25 people.

In the bar, Jonathan’s Grille has subscriptions to all major sports networks like MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and tons of college sports as well. They have free Wi-Fi as well so you can check your fantasy team while watching the game.

There is some kind of drink special every day of the week. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays is 2-for-Tuesday from open until 10 p.m. There is also 2-for-1 beer on Sunday. There are also different food specials daily.

Jonathan’s Grille is located at 613 South Mt. Juliet Road in the Publix shopping center. They can be reached at (615)288-2167.
