Encore Consignment East expands PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, July 30, 2013

Last February, two local Mt. Juliet moms, Michelle Harper and Tricia Swaney, listened to local moms chanting on Facebook “Bring Encores to Mt Juliet.” These two moms with lots of help from other local moms, held the most successful Children’s Consignment Sale in Wilson County.

This knock-out success demanded that Encores East expand.  After a long search, Encores East Sale will be holding its second Consignment sale in a large, spacious warehouse, called The Deal Center (formerly Spec Print) at 1710 North Mt Juliet Rd.  With easy access from I-40 and plenty of parking, this location is beyond ideal for the next sale.

Having a larger area for the sale, Encores East has announced that they are expanding to include all Household Items, Tools/Hardware, Books, Electronics, Furniture, and Home Décor.  Along with thousands of quality, name brand gently used clothing items for children, toys, accessories, and many other items at deeply discounted prices, this sale will be one to not miss.

The First Time Mom’s Sale will get the ball rolling, starting Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 8:30 a.m. New mothers must register online prior to sale.  At 10 a.m. that same day, the General Public is free to take advantage of the incredible quality and amazing variety available at Encores East.  This sale will continue through the week offering a 50 percent off day on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Encores East has a fast and easy streamlined check out.  Offering shoppers a relaxed, organized and easier purchase process, with less wait and less hassle.  Encores accepts payment in cash, debit card or credit card issued by Visa or Mastercard.

On Aug. 4, Drop Off begins and continues through Aug. 5.  Consignors and those who barter or work for the sale get the privilege of shopping early on Aug. 6. If you are interested in consigning, working or bartering, please look for more information or register on the website www.encoresconsignmenteast.com.

After the sale, consignors may pick up any unsold items or simply leave these items for donation. Encores East has arranged for all donation items to foster families through DCS.

Our community is important to us.  Beyond providing a shopping experience that’s value friendly to families in Wilson County, Encores East also works hard by donating time and raising money for Wilson County’s Books from Birth Imagination Library. On Wednesday, July 17 from 5 to 8 p.m., Encores East is sponsoring a Spirit Night at the Mt Juliet/Providence Chick-fil-A with all proceeds going to Wilson Books from Birth.  Representatives from Wilson Books from Birth will be on-hand at both at the Spirit Night and at select sale dates for families to sign-up.

The original Encores and More in Franklin began 20 years ago in a two-car garage in Brentwood with only 60 consignors. Now with thousands of consignors and five locations, Encores Consignment has grown to be one of the most popular and trusted consignment sales in Middle Tennessee.
