Charlie Woods has been in customer service for years, so he knows what people want.

His business, RC Trailers, brings several items to Mt. Juliet like utility trailers, enclosed trailers, car haulers, storage buildings, carports, metal buildings, and even Amish Outdoor Furniture.

The wood storage buildings are made by a Mennonite group out of Kentucky, and he gets the Amish furniture from some brothers down near the Alabama state line.

Woods, who has lived in Mt. Juliet for over 40 years, wants to see the north side of town reach the success that the south side has. That is why he uses small businesses in the area, and tries to help them in any way he can.

RC Trailers is located at 14565 Lebanon Road, next to the U-Haul facility. You can reach them at (615)790-3141 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Juliet citizens might need, so if you know something that might be a good addition to RC Trailers, be sure to let him know.

The north side of town can now get their sushi fix thanks to Roll Wrap & Stix on Lebanon Road.

Owner Hla Tun, has been a sushi chef for years, and he has catered the entire campus of Vanderbilt University for the last several years.

Since summer break has now come for the majority of the Vanderbilt students, Tun thought it was a great time to bring his cuisine to the Mt. Juliet area.

“We have the freshest fish,” said Tun. He said he only orders tuna and salmon which has never been frozen, ensuring that you get the most flavor out of it. He also puts a lot of care into his rice, which will take over an hour to prepare.

“A lot of places can’t beat it,” said Tun.

With the motto of buy local, build local, A Jones of All Trades is bringing handmade jewelry, home décor and toys to Mt. Juliet.

“I’ve been a crafter from a very young age,” said Owner Becca Jones.

That love of crafts of all kinds gave birth to the store on Lebanon Road where 25 vendors display all their handmade items. The crafters vary anywhere from stay at home moms to retired persons, all building what they love.

“Everything in my store has a story,” said Jones.

Jones collected the vendors through sources like Etsy and Craigslist, and her husband collected some reclaimed wood to build the beautiful display cases in the store. Jones herself makes several items like jewelry and headbands.

A Jones of All Trades wants to be more than a retail shop. They want to be active in the community whether it be craft nights, doing events in the schools, or benefits. This fall, they are going to do a family festival at the Rec Center. They will also have classes on starter beading or how to make the yarn clutches that are for sale in the store.

Jones is always looking for new vendors. You can seek them out on Facebook or email them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
