Landscaper robbed at gunpoint PDF Print E-mail

A 20-year-old male landscaper was robbed at gunpoint by two men Tuesday, July 2 according to the Mt. Juliet Police Department. 

The landscaper called 911 around 2 p.m. stating that he had just been robbed, and a shot had been fired during a struggle. The two robbers, one of which had a handgun, demanded his headphones. That is when the struggle ensued, and the shot was fired. The robbers fled after the gunshot. 

Mt. Juliet Police Department said the two men jumped into a tan 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Both were described as black men in their early 20s. One was wearing a black shirt and had long hair, and the other had on a green shirt and a black hat. They are believed to have burglarized the landscaper’s car before the confrontation. 

“This investigation is ongoing, and investigators are now piecing everything together in hopes of a quick resolution,” the Mt. Juliet Police Department said in a press release the day of the incident. 

Sergeant Tyler Chandler said there was no update on the case as of Monday afternoon.
