GLADEVILLE - Wilson Central’s basketball teams split a home doubleheader Thursday with Antioch High - the girls losing 51-46 and the boys taking a 66-54 win in the nightcap.

The Lady Wildcats (now 2-2) led 37-33 after three quarters, but saw Antioch pull away with an 18-9 edge in the fourth quarter. 

Rachel Bean had 21 for Central and Dominique St. Louis chipped in with 11 points. Coach 

Troy Bond’s Wildcats upped their record to 3-0 on the season with a 66-54 victory over Antioch Thursday night. Jacob Williams led the way with 21 points, Blake Huffman added 14 and Ben Palmer 13. 

Central hosted Cookeville Tuesday. The game was completed after press time. 

They will host Hendersonville Friday, with the girls game tipping off at 6:30 p.m.
