|Lowe's grant to go to 'Squirrel's Run'|

Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has awarded a $28,000 grant to the City of Mt. Juliet: Parks & Recreation Department for Charlie Daniels Park.The City of Mt. Juliet Parks & Recreation Department will use the grant to replace the engineered wood fiber in the toddler park “Squirrel’s Run” with poured-in-place rubber surfacing.

In 2011, Lowe’s and the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation together contributed more than $32 million to support communities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
