The Tennessee State Museum Traveling Exhibit “Common People in Uncommon Times: The Civil War Experience in Tennessee” arrived at Granville Museum, Granville, Aug. 30 where it will be on exhibit till Oct. 28. Myers Brown, Curator of History & Extension Services of Tennessee State Museum completes one of the exhibits that are part of the exhibit that was developed inCommemoration of the 150 Anniversary of the Civil War. The exhibit will be open Wednesday thru Saturday of each week from noon to 3 p.m. with no admission charge.
On Oct. 6, The Granville Fall Celebration will Celebrate this exhibit as well as the 150th anniversary with a special Civil War Living History Demonstrations. Groups as well as individuals are encouraged to see this wonderful exhibit.
