Wilson County voters have been hitting the polls early in big numbers since early voting started Oct. 17.

Over 24,000 voters have cast their ballots as of the end of the day Monday, with the Mt. Juliet polling place in the community center showing the highest attendance.  That is nearly a third of all eligible voters in Wilson County, which has 75,817 eligible for voting this election.

The Mt. Juliet Community Center has seen 10,657 voters come thru their doors and cast their ballots. The best day was Monday with 1,130 voters visiting. They have had over 1,000 people vote six of the 11 days that early voting has been active.

Early voting ends Thursday, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
