|5K Challenge for Charis Saturday|

Put your best foot forward for Wilson County at The 5k Challenge for Charis, Saturday, Dec. 1, at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt. Juliet.
Runners and walkers, teams and individuals are all welcome to participate and help raise awareness and funds for Charis Health Center, a non-profit organization which provides primary health care for the working uninsured of Wilson County. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate as a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk will be held in addition to the 5k.The 5k Challenge for Charis starts at 8 a.m and age groups include 14 and under all the way up to 80 and over and prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners in each category. Cash awards will go to the 1st and 2nd place Men’s and Women’s overall.
Registration through Nov. 29 is $25 for the 5k Run/Walk and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Day of race registration fees are $30 and $20.
Some great silent auction items will be up for bids along with music from former Nashville Star winner Erica Jo, and fun activities for the whole family.
