The Mt. Juliet Tennis “Girls” recently presented a check for $3,000 to Charis Health Center. On hand to accept the check was Charis Executive Director Karen Rudzinski. The money was raised at their annual tennis tournament held Oct. 15 at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt. Juliet.Rudzinski said that the funds will be used to provide free mammograms for patients at Charis Health Center.
“We are so blessed to have such a fun and caring group of “girls” that care so much for our community” Rudzinski commented.
This past year alone, Charis Health Center was able to provide 71 free mammograms for their patients, thanks in part to the generous efforts of the Mt. Juliet Tennis Girls tournament in 2011.
