|Wilson County Friends of the NRA earn Bronze Award|

February 23, the Wilson Co. Friends of the NRA Committee was honored with a Bronze Award from the Tennessee Friends of NRA at the State Fund Conference in Nashville. for eclipsing its previous totals and setting a new all-time high in fundraising.
Wilson Co. FNRA is once again aiming to break its previous record with its 2013 Charity Banquet to be held on Friday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ward Agricultural Center.
Chairman Kyle McKay promises a family friendly event complete with food, fun and games culminating in a silent and live auction. “100 percent of the profits go to qualified local, state and national shooting sports programs as well as the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Program for Elementary Schools. These programs include the Boy Scouts, 4H, and High School Junior ROTC. Last year, the combined FNRA committees in the state raised $209,000 with over $24,000 going to programs right here in Wilson County.”
