Wilson One awards scholarships
Tuesday, July 30, 2013

The Wilson Organization for Networking and Education (Wilson ONE) recently awarded two $500 educational scholarships to Seth Jacob Stafford and his sister, Asia Stafford, both of Mt. Juliet.  Jacob completed his program in May for EMT/Firefighting Certification at Columbia State Community College while working part-time at Publix in Mt. Juliet and volunteering with the Lascassas Fire Department in Rutherford County.  His sister Asia also received a $500 scholarship toward her educational training at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School and will finish her training in November.

Wilson ONE organized in 2001 to focus on the enablement of working individuals, paid and non-paid, from all walks of life in Wilson County; to provide networking opportunities—business and volunteers; to provide education through informative programs and guest speakers; to promote local, community organization and involvement.  Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at noon at The Lebanon Golf & Country Club from noon until 1 p.m. Membership is $25 per year which helps support the scholarships and other community projects.  For more information, please visit our website which is soon to be updated. www.wilsonone.com  or contact Linda Armistead, 615-504-9393.
