Wilson Central ended their season in the first round of the AAA State Tournament Wednesday, falling 56-36 to Brentwood.

The game was tight early, with Brentwood holding just a 10-8 lead. However, the Bruins finished the first quarter strong, going on an 11-0 run to lead 21-8 at the end of one. They held that 13-point lead into the break, staying up 30-17.

Brentwood put the game out of reach in the third. Wilson Central put a little pressure to start the quarter, and cut the lead to eight points, but the Bruins once again closed the quarter in full control, going up 46-25 into the final quarter.

Jacob Williams closed out his Wildcat career with a double-double, 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Wildcats finished the season 26-7.
