The Arts Alliance of Middle Tennessee and The City of Mt. Juliet are proud to announce a free festival of music and theatre performances once each month on a Saturday night this summer from May through September at the Charlie Daniels Park Stage - 1075 Charlie Daniels Pkwy, Mt Juliet, TN 37122 (615) 758-6522.So, clip out the schedule, pack up a picnic, bring your favorite blanket or chair and enjoy local music and theatre in Wilson County. All performances will be family friendly and a great time.

Cedar Creek Community Band will start Summer Fest 2014 May 10. The Cedar Creek Community Band (CCCB) is an all-volunteer 55 piece local Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Concert Band. These fine musicians play a wide variety of music that will have your toes tapping. The CCCB began in January of 2009, under the vision and direction of Sherie Grossman of Mt. Juliet. Encore Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit community theatre serving Wilson County and surrounding areas. This is the eighth year for Encore who produce 6-8 plays a year at their theatre - 6978 Lebanon Rd., Mt. Juliet TN 37122. Their next performance will be “ Jubilee in the Rear View Mirror” by Garret Mathews weekends May 9-24. Tickets and details can be found at www.encore-theatre-company.org.
The Jazz Alliance Big Band is a local 19 piece Big Band that plays a wide variety of swing, big band and popular music. Dancing is encouraged and contagious when The Jazz Alliance plays. Under the direction of Joe Thordsen, Mario Davidson and Lisa Northcutt they are in their seventh year and play events regularly all over the Greater Nashville Area including festivals, fairs, charity, and community events. Exit 219 will make their first appearance as the opening act for The Jazz Alliance on July 12. Exit 219 got started as a UMC Vocal Combo and perform songs from the 40s, 50s, 60s, Jazz, Broadway, Gospel and Patriotic music.
