MJ girl fighting life-threatening disease
Tuesday, May 27, 2014

When a loved one and their family are fighting a serious illness, you surround that family with all your love and support.  That is exactly what is happening with the Kelley family.

Paisley Kelley, a ten-year-old girl, is fighting Niemann-Pick –a genetic life-threatening disease that affects the liver and leaves her in constant pain.  There is no known cure for the disease but symptoms can be treated with medication. The Kelley family is waiting for a FDA approval on a treatment, which is not covered by insurance.

Family and friends of the Kelley family are selling bracelets as a fundraiser to support Paisley, her family, and to aid in finding a cure for Niemann-Pick.  The cost for the bracelets are 1/$10, 5/$40, 10/$60, and 20/$100.  All who donate by purchasing one or more bracelets will be entered to win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  This custom-made bike is signed by some of the biggest names in Country music – such as  - Florida Georgia Line, Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, and George Strait.  The helmet has been signed by artists also.  This one-of-a-kind Harley-Davidson will be on display at the Hog Rally May 31 in Cookeville and at The Listening Room June 17 in Downtown Nashville.  The drawing for this custom-made Harley-Davidson will be Nov. 8.

To purchase bracelets or for more information you may visit the showings of the Harley-Davidson or by visiting the website at www.prayersforpaisley.us.

Donations may be made at any SunTrust branch under the trust fund in Paisley Kelley’s name.
