Tuesday, June 17, 2014

School Outfitters is proud to announce that Lisa Redditt from the Stoner Creek Elementary is one of 24 winners of the Primary Colors Creative Classroom Sweepstakes.

Recently, teachers, students and parents from all over the country submitted pictures of creative classroom projects to the School Outfitters Facebook page to share ideas, showcase creativity and enter the contest.

Redditt submitted her creative project, “Dr. Seuss’ Oobleck!.”  Her “Dr. Seuss’ Oobleck!” project was drawn from a pool of more than 250 qualified entries. Please view the attached photo for a visual of the project.

“The class was celebrating Dr. Seuss and we had just read the story, “Bartholomew and the Oobleck”. The kids made “Oobleck”, which is essentially, green slime,” said Redditt. “It was the perfect activity to go with the story and the kids loved it!”

As a Primary Colors Creative Classroom Sweepstakes winner, Redditt has won a $500 gift certificate for Primary Colors materials. Primary Colors is a value-priced line of quality art and craft supplies, available exclusively at School Outfitters.
