|Littering stop leads to arrest for active warrants|

Around 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, Sergeant Mang witnessed trash blowing out from the bed of a 1993 Chevrolet Pickup traveling down Lebanon Road. After stopping the truck on Lebanon Road near N. Greenhill Road, a computer check revealed that the driver and passenger in the truck had active warrants from nearby agencies.
The driver, Bruce Tibbs, 45, of Old Hickory, was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear out of Wilson County. The passenger, Shonn Tibbs, 43, of Old Hickory, was arrested on a felony warrant for Theft of a Motor Vehicle out of Metro-Nashville.
Both were booked into the Wilson County Jail without incident.
