Unknown woman saves little boy’s life
Tuesday, May 19, 2015

An unknown woman saved a 3-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in the Willoughby Station pool.

Three-year-old Jack Fly was found unresponsive floating face up in the deep end at the pool. His father James Fly, along with the boy’s mother Piper, got the boy on the ledge of the pool. The parents yelled for anyone to help perform CPR on their child, and an unidentified woman in a pink shirt showed up and started CPR. After a short time, the boy started coughing up water and breathing on his own.

The boy was transferred to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

“It is believed that he will make a full recovery, which could be a result of the unknown female’s efforts with CPR. We would like to know who she is,” said MJPD Corporal Tyler Chandler.
