Donald T. Hoyt, 78, Mt. Juliet, passed away Friday, July 10. Memorial services are Saturday, July 25 at 2:30 p.m. in the Abundant Life Church at 1000 Woodridge Place, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Visitation with the family will be same day at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service. 

Hoyt was born Nov. 8, 1936 to the late Clinton and Gladys Tracy Hoyt in Buffalo, NY. Don served his country in the US Navy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hoyt; and sister, Nina Rose. 

Surviving family includes: his wife, Linda Hoyt; children, Jim Hoyt (Sabrina), Kim Schultheis (Hal), Robert Hoyt (Lisa), Robin Burch; grandchildren, April Hoyt Embry (Chris), Erin Burch, Jamie Schultheis, Ben Schultheis; great-grandchildren, Christopher Embry, Jackson Hebert, nieces, Audrey O’Hara and Beverly Williams along with their families.

Zelda Sellers Main, 90, Mt. Juliet, passed away Wednesday, July 15. A private memorial will be held at a later date. 

Zelda was born Oct. 26, 1924 to the late George and Bessie Townsend Sellers in Perote, Ala. Along with her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband Sam Main. 

Surviving family includes: her daughter, Mary Main (Steve Nadolson) of Lebanon; son, Kent Main of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Brian Crawford (Denise), Susan James (Josh); great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Crawford, Zoe Crawford, and Lucy Crawford.

Mildred Louise Keele McPeak, 89, Mt. Juliet, died July 15. 

McPeak was a member of Christ Servants. She loved music. McPeak was the daughter of the late, Emmett and Della Lee Ray Keele. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rufus S. McPeak, Sr; siblings, Sonny Keele, Evelyn Edwards, Patsy R. Edwards, Rose M. Southard,  and Katherine Dingman and sons-in-law, Haskell Victory and Sammy Mooneyham.

She is survived by: children, Nancy Mooneyham, Gloria Jeanette Victory and Rufus “PeeWee” McPeak, Jr.; grandchildren, Kim Mooneyham, Kenneth (Sharon) Mooneyham, Keith (Angela) Mooneyham and Jimmy Victory; great-grandchildren, Lauren French, Albry Mooneyham, Ashleigh Lindeman, Matthew Victory, Brandon Victory, Sage Mooneyham, Cody Harwell and Jamie Bastin; great-great grandchildren, Jeffrey French, Marley Fowler, Sadie Mooneyham, Blaise Mooneyham, Bentley Lindeman, Jackson Harwell and Brooks Bastin; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 18 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Tim Eldred, Bro. Jerry Smith and Bro. Mike Eady officiating. Interment followed at Lannom Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Sammy Edwards, Dewayne Kessler, Ronnie Edwards, Tommy Skelton, Frankie McPeak and Ivan Fleming. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Edmondson, Truman Jones, J.R. Edwards and Will Davis Edwards.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Life Care Center of Hickory Woods.

Charles Lee Michael,  82, Madison, passed away Wednesday, July 15. Memorial services were Tuesday, July 21 at in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be until time of service. 

Michael was born Oct. 19, 1932 to the late Charles Iris Michael and Callie Tickle Michael in Greensboro, NC. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Michael.  

Surviving family left to cherish his memory includes: his son, Tony Michael (Donna); two grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Noah and Daniel Michael; brother, Jerry Michael (Fran); and ex-wife, Charlene Michael. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson St, Nashville, TN 37203.

He is survived by: wife, Judy Urban; son,Dennis (Sherri) Urban; daughter, Kim (Steve) Campbell; step son, Michael (Chris) Johnson; sister, Donna (Wayne) Brooks; grandchildren, Kaylee Urban, Devan Urban, Joshua McGill, Shane Norman, Skylar Norman, Amber Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Cheyanne Johnson, Harley Rose Johnson, Brandon Urban; great grandchildren, Adan Urban, Eva McGill, Tessa Tharp.

There was a Celebration of Life service Monday, July 20 at the home of Dennis and Sherri Urban, 806 Lori Lane, Mt. Juliet.
