Issac Dardinell Burgess, 78, Mt. Juliet, passed away May 27. 

He is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Patricia Hobby Burgess; children, Larry Burgess, Teresa Hylton, John Burgess and Laurie (Brian) McCall; grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Kristie, Brandon, Adam, Jacob, Logan, Rachel; brothers, Garland and Phillip Burgess. 

Burgess was a life-long carpenter, hard worker and avid coon hunter. 

Graveside services were Thursday, May 31 in Woodlawn Memorial Park with Randy Ward officiating. Visitation was Wednesday.
