Gene Travis, 71, Mt. Juliet, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 25. 

Travis is survived by: daughter, Leslie (Ed) Brumbach; stepdaughter, Traci (John) Heckerman; granddaughters, Sydney, Payton,  Skylar Brumbach & Chelsea Heckerman; grandson, Gabe Heckerman. 

Gene served during the Vietnam War for the US Navy. Gene was retired from the US Postal Service (Woodbine location).
