James William Webb, 78, Alexandria, and formerly of Mt. Juliet, died Monday, Sept. 17.Webb attended Brush Creek Church of Christ. Webb was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post No. 57. He was the son of the late, James William and Dixie Marie Hazelwood Webb. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Murray Edward Webb.
He is survived by: wife, Geraldine L. Webb; children, Kenny (Dianne) Webb, Kathy Parchman, Regina (Butch) Cole, Ronald (Diane) Arnold, Debra Bremer and Sherie (Mark) Cook; brother, Jack (Peggy) Webb; sister, Mary Ann (Billy) Jolley; 25 Grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren, graveside services with military honors will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Glenn B. Ramsey officiating.
