Ralph Edgar Smiley, 59, Antioch passed away Oct. 1. 

Smiley was preceded in death by parents, Horace Edgar and Ruth Francis Smiley. 

He is survived by: children, Eddie (Carrie) Smiley, Christie Smiley and Michael (Tiffany) Smiley; brother, William (Jane) Smiley; sister, Linda Hughes; grandchildren, Connor and Tylor Smiley and Austin Strong; and nephews, Hunter Smiley and John and Ray Hughes. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Alive Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to Donelson Christian Academy and Friendship Christian School.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 4th at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Randy Cook officiating. Interment followed the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Mike Ayers, Bob Derrick, Steve Cootes, Bubba Robertson, Marc Nelson and Hunter Smiley serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Wednesday, Oct. 3 one hour prior to the service.
