William B. Morrissey, 72, Mt. Juliet passed away Nov. 2. 

Morrissey was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Morrissey and sister, Barbara Riley. 

He is survived by: his children, Bill (Jill) Morrissey and Stacey (Klaas) DeWit; grandchildren, Greg Morrissey, Keely Morrissey, Sophia Morrissey, Emily DeWit, Aidan DeWit and Maxwell DeWit; siblings, Nancy Lafata, Phyllis Rodman, Kathleen Morrissey, Patrick Morrissey and Eileen Garrett. 

Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN. Interment with military honors will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Nov. 8,  from 4-8 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Community with a vigil service to be held at 7 p.m. Flowers will be accepted; however, donations may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Community.
