Catalina Maralescu, Old Hickory, passed away Dec. 11, at the age of 45. 

Maralescu is survived by: husband, Dimitrie Maralescu; sons, Emanuel Maralescu and Michael Maralescu; and brother, Ion (Dosica) Ghinescu. 

Funeral services were  Friday, Dec. 14 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Tim Miu officiating. Interment at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens was Saturday, Dec. 15. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Friday, Dec. 14. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice and Romanian Baptist Church.
