Joan Hamblen Wright, 78,  Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Dec. 22. 

Wright was a faithful member of Corinth Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late, Horace and Maxie Peach Hamblen. Joan was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Ann Binkley and her sister, Maxie Mai York.

She is survived by: husband of 59 years, James Ronald Wright; son, James Ricky Wright; brothers, Terry Hamblen and Hilton Hamblen; sister, Mary Lou Hamblen; grandchildren,  Russell Foy, Brittany Foy, Robbie Foy, Bradley Foy, Sarah Wright and Jessica Wright; great-grandbaby,  Niveah Wright.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 27, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Buddy Neal officiating. Interment followed at Hamblen Cemetery. Grandchildren and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
