John T. Clark, 91, Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Dec. 18.Clark was a member of Scenic View Baptist Church in Donelson and Grace United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and recently participated in the Honor Flight Program. Clark was the son of the late, Dallas and Eva Hill Clark. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Genelle Clark; brothers, Hudson Clark and Ova J. Clark and sisters, Marine C. Martin and Thelma Lee Neal. His granddaughter, Kendra, said, “Pa was the best grandfather I could ask for. He loved me unconditionally and the memory of his love will last forever. He was very loved and we were blessed with many wonderful years with him.”
He is survived by:daughter, Wanda Clark (William L.) Douglas; son, Terry Pallas Clark; granddaughter, Kendra Michelle Douglas.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 21, at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment with military honors followed at Hillview Cemetery in Alexandria. Pallbearers will be Bill Douglas, Pallas Clark, Daniel Pfeffer, Doug Pfeffer, Billy Sanders and Steven Fuller.
