Fraces Davis, 74, Donelson, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. 

Davis was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxillary, Post 88. She was the daughter of the late, Sam and Effie Burleson Davis. Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Davis; daughter, Patti Ollis Ward; brother, Sammy Davis and special friend, John Donifiro.

She is survived by: daughter, Sandi (Steve) Benson; sister-in-law, Margaret Davis; nephew, Clark Davis; step-grandchildren, Sara, Mellisa and Shannon Benson.

Funeral services and interment will be conducted in Spruce Pine, NC.
