Brentson Freeman Spruill, 79, Mt. Juliet, went to be with his Lord on May 8.
He is preceded in death by parents, Thomas Freeman and Kathleen Spruill, son Gary Spruill and brother, Arnold Spruill.
He is survived by: wife of 58 years Frances Spruill; daughter Pam White (David), grandchildren, Jimmy White (Bethany), Jeff White, Chris White, Matthew Spruill, Brittany Gann (Rod), Amanda Arledge (Marshall), great-grandchildren Kaytielynn White, Brentson White, Ansley Arledge, Lakely Arledge and sister Clarice Griffin.
Spruill, a lifetime printer, was a graduate of the Southern School of Graphic Arts, retiring from Vaughn Printing Company. He is a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Nashville and enjoyed his kinship with the Victory Class members. Brentson was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed and loved spending time with his family and friends.
A memorial service was Saturday, May 11 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Nashville with Rev. Kevin Ulmet officiating. Visitation with the family was Friday at Hermitage Funeral Home and prior to the service at the church.
