The City of Mt. Juliet and The Arts Alliance of Middle Tennessee are proud to announce a free series of music, theatre and the arts performances this summer at the Charlie Daniels Park Stage.

The First Annual Summer of Music, Theatre and Arts in Charlie Daniels Park begins with The Jazz Alliance Big Band on Saturday, June 8 from 6:30-8:30pm. The Jazz Alliance is a local 18 piece Big Band that plays a wide variety of swing, big band and popular music. Dancing is encouraged and a local dance studio is looking at providing ballroom dance lesson at 6 p.m. Please plan a picnic or local restaurants may have some tasty foods available for sale. So, bring your favorite blanket, some dancing shoes and enjoy local music, theatre and the arts in Mt. Juliet. All performances will be family friendly and appropriate for all age groups.
The series will then continue July 6 with Encore Theatre Company performing “Cinderella Wore Combat Boots” a One-Act play and a preview of their  July play “Red, White and Tuna” - an Independence Day-themed show. Encore Theatre Company is a highly successful Mt. Juliet based non-profit theatre company formed in 2006.
Cedar Creek Community Band (CCCB) will end the series in October with a rousing sound.  CCCB is a 55 piece local Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Concert Band that will have your toes tapping. There are conversations to book two other dates for the first Saturday nights of August and September.
