Cyndee Anne DeZarn, 49, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 1 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a long illness.
Born in Kingsport, Cyndee had lived in Mt. Juliet for 30 years before moving back to Kingsport. She was an assistant administrator for Mid-Cumberland Human Resources Agency in Nashville. She was a member of Hickory Hills Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet where she enjoyed working with the youth of the church.
She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Debra DeZarn; her brother, Kevin DeZarn and her father, Edward DeZarn.
She is survived by: mother, Louise DeZarn of Kingsport; sister, Sharon Ketron and husband Jeff of Kingsport; brother, Tony DeZarn of Kingsport; niece, Katie Hoke.
The family received friends Saturday, Jan. 4 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. Cyndee was takento Hermitage Funeral Home where the family received friends Sunday with the funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dan Millikan officiated.
A graveside service was conducted Monday with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
