Linda Susan Coffey, 64, Old Hickory, died March 8. 

Coffey served thirty years in the U.S. Air Force, state side and abroad, and retired with the rank of Colonel. She was also an employee of Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 13 years as a clinical nurse in women’s health and postpartem care. Coffey was preceded in death by her father, Frank Jackson Coffey and her sister, Pamela Gaye Coffey.

She is survived by: mother, Johnnye Sue Coffey; brothers, William Paul Coffey and Frank Jackson Coffey, Jr.; nieces, Jacquline, Gabrielle and Danielle Coffey; nephew, Robert Jackson Coffey.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 13, at Bond Memorial Chapel with William Wiley officiating.

Eileen Ferrell Green,  90, Mt. Juliet, died March 10. 

Green was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church for over 50 years and Harvey Freeman Chapter No. 181 Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was employed as a bookkeeper for several businesses for many years.

Green was the daughter of the late, Charles and Margueritte Niaina Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ralph Walden Green, Jr. 

She is survived by: son, Darrell Green; daughter, Jean (Bob) Coats; grandchildren, Amber Green, Lucas Green and Casey Bradshaw Adams; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 15, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lee Stevenson and Bishop Robert Spain officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Barbara Ann Ferguson Mayo, 81, Nashville, died March 14. Barbara was a hair stylist at Wayne’s Unisex Salon. She was a member of Harvey Freeman, Chapter No. 181, Order of the Eastern Star. Barbara was the daughter of the late, James Cecil and Eula Mae King Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Mayo.

She is survived by: sons, James K. (Karlette) Mayo and Warren S. Mayo; grandchildren, James W. Mayo, Kevin Mayo, Kristy Mayo and James C. Mayo; great-grandchildren, Billy Mayo, Ella Mayo, Madeleine Mayo and Madyson Mayo.

Funeral services will be conducted noon Wednesday, March 19, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kevin Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be James K. Mayo, James C. Mayo, Kevin Mayo, James W. Mayo, Ken Harris and Wayne Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Mayo, Les Knop, George Mockmore, James Cooper, Wayne Brown and Kalen Morrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, One Vantage Way, Suite D-220, Nashville, TN 37228.

Paul David Musick, 42, Mt. Juliet, died March 9. 

Paul was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Tennessee Air National Guard and served one year in Desert Storm. Paul enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and traveled the world for four years. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and attended air assault school at Ft. Campbell and paratrooper training at Ft. Benning and made 92 parachute jumps all over the world. Paul served one year in Kuwait. For four years he was attached to the 5th Special Forces with whom he served three tours in Iraq. He attained a rank of Sergeant First Class.

He is survived by: parents, Ron and Jeanne Musick of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Izabella Grace Musick of Glasgow, Ky.; sister, Susan (Douglas) Castille of Grayson, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Virginia Musick of Kingsport; maternal grandmother, Mary Katherine Sheffey of Kingsport; niece, Marissa Beth Castille; nephew, Jason Douglas Castille.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 15, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ed Britt officiating. Interment with military honors were Monday, March 17, at the Nashville National Cemetery.

Clyde L. Williams, Mt. Juliet, 80, Mt. Juliet, passed away March 1 after a year-long battle with cancer. 

 Williams was preceded in death by his son, Michael R. Williams. 

He is survived by: his loving family, including daughter Angie (Charles) Prewitt, Margie P. Williams; granddaughter, Brooke (Mark) Prewitt Vane; grandson, Russell (Alison) Prewitt; and four great grandchildren. 

He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Following his military service, he entered into the printing industry having a successful career until retirement. His favorite pastime was golf, a sport he enjoyed for more than 50 years. 

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 18 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln., Old Hickory, TN. Entombment followed in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family and friends was Monday and prior to the service Tuesday, also at Hermitage Funeral Home .Contributions may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and Alive Hospice.
