Dovie Mae Bush, 81, Mt. Juliet, died Feb. 23, 2014. 

Bush was an active member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ for the past 12 years. Prior to moving to Mt. Juliet to be with her grandkids, she was a long time member of the Orange Avenue Church of Christ in Eustis, Fla. Bush worked for many years at Harden Early Childcare at Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School. She was the daughter of the late, John and Nevada Russell Cantwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Bush; infant son, Ivan Douglas Bush; brothers, Richard, Carl, Glenn, General, Calvin and Lewis; sisters, Irene, Vinitta and Reva. Bush’s life was centered around her commitment and service to Jesus; she set an example of how to live a Christ filled life. She was a helper, a giver, an encourager, a hugger, and a forgiver; always gracious and kind. Gram’s, as she was known to the family, was a cherished mother and grandmother who valued quality time with her loved ones. 

She is survived by: daughter, Pam (Curtis) Jordan; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Austin, Dylan, Ondria and Caleb.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Bond Memorial Chapel with David Shannon and Frank Jordan officiating. Interment will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Fla. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School, 301 W. 13th Ave., Mount Dora, FL 32757.

Sue Campbell, 60, Mt. Juliet passed away Feb.  19. 

She is survived by: father, James Prickett; mother, Ruthie Boone; children, Tina Grimm, Rory Campbell and Savannah Campbell; grandchildren, Emily Humphrey, Garrett Brown, Paul Grimm, IV, Austin Campbell, Madelynn Hambelton and Lee Hambelton; great-granddaughter, Willow Zakrzewski; unborn great-grandson, Jackson Brown; son-in-law, Billy Hambelton; numerous extended family members and beloved dog, Lucy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 1 from 9-11 a.m.

Joseph McCarrol, Sr.,  79, who went by JD, passed away February 20, a veteran of the United States Navy, who served over four years of active duty. 

He was preceded in death by mother, Margaret McCarrol; sister, Sarah Russell.

JD is survived by: his sister Lucille Spencer, two sons, Joseph D. (Kelly)McCarrol, Jr. and Ronald E. (Grace) McCarrol; two daughters, Pamela J. (Danny) McCarrol-Fournier and Shena L. (Justin) McCarrol; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

JD worked, lived and played hard. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, singing and enjoying his family and friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 3:30 p.m. til 4:45 p.m. at the Mt. Juliet Community Center in Charlie Daniels Park, Mt. Juliet.

Flordelina Gabriel Torres Pattawi, 66, Mt. Juliet, died Feb. 20. 

Pattawi was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Community. She was a registered nurse at Summit Medical Center and a volunteer for the Haiti Medical/Dental Mission of St. Stephen. Mrs. Pattawi was preceded in death by her father, Felix Torres; mother, Sancha Gabriel Torres and brother, Danilo Torres.

She is survived by: husband, Ed Pattawi; daughters, Mercy Pattawi-Gamlin, Kathleen Mann and Laura Pattiwa; siblings, Dionisio, Angelina, Venus, Chita, Emma, Efren, Flora, Ferdie, Joyal, Jessie and Elisa.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at St. Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN with Father Pat Kibby officiating. Active pallbearers will be Robert Manzel, Matt Gloster, Willie Cepnio, Juan Villanueva, Antonio Marty, Danilo Flores, Porsirio, Abellera and Albert Go. Honorary pallbearers will be Jozef Goethals, Ed Magpantay, Abelardo Manalac and Rick Nactigal.

Jon Setzer, 74, Lebanon, passed on to heaven on Feb. 10 and his beloved wife, Marion Irwin Setzer, 72, Lebanon, joined him Feb. 12. 

They were both born in Johnson City. Jon was born Feb. 27, 1939 and Marion was born  Jan. 1, 1942. They loved the Lord with all their hearts and spent their lives serving Him and loving those around them. 

They are survived by: Marion’s brother, Dr. John Bruce Irwin; their children, Laura, Kristy, Matthew, Marianna; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

A memorial fund has been set up in their names at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. A memorial service to celebrate their lives was Saturday Feb. 22 at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN 37206. Visitation was until the time of service.
