Brenda Williams, 64,  Old Hickory, died Thursday, Dec. 6. 

William E. Crater, 67, Hermitage, died Thursday, Nov. 29. 

Crater was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was the son of the late, Claude and Oma Morris Crater. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Bernadette Heyse,  87, Mt. Juliet passed away Dec. 3. 

She is preceded in death by: beloved husband, Hugo Heyse; daughters, Cindy Heyse and Patricia Ann Heyse; parents, Leon and Mabel Lagor; four brothers and three sisters. 

She is survived by daughters, Heather Heyse, Holly Clouatre and Chris (Dave Santanello) Heyse; son, Jeff (Jill) Heyse; 10 grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Connecticut.

River Hugh King, infant son of Zach and Heather McAlister King, of Old Hickory, died Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Summit Medical Center.

Services were Friday, Nov. 30 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

Burial followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Helen Juanita Penland, 70, Mt. Juliet, died Monday, Dec. 3.

Penland attended First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet. She was the daughter of the late, Cecil Howard and Estelle Crook Smith. Mrs. Penland was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lowell Penland and sister, Mary Virginia Penland.
