Patricia Ann Byrd, age 82, Donelson, died May 2. 

Byrd was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Donelson and an active member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was the daughter of the late, Baily C. and Beatrice Lowe Newport of Oneida.

She is survived by: husband of 65 years, Johnny Lee Byrd; children, Michael Byrd, Teri Byrd (Howard Blaydes) Sullivan and Kimberly Ann (Barry) Lance; grandchildren, Jonathan Ryan Hodges and Rachel Ann Hodges; special cousin, June Jeffers; sister-in-law, Leela Cross; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 5, at First Baptist Church of Donelson, 2526 Lebanon Road, Donelson, TN with Pastor Jim Cross and Pastor Jack Barron officiating. Interment followed at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Barry Lance, Howard Blaydes, Jonathan Hodges, Wayne Sirmon, Blake Simmons and James Adkins. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Collier Class at First Baptist Church of Donelson.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Mid-South Chapter of the Lupus Foundation, the Tennessee Arthritis Foundation or the Mid-South Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

William John Crow, 71, passed away April 27.  

He is survived by: his wife, Carol Crow; son, John Crow; grandchildren, Patrick and Korey Crow; great-granddaughter, Sara Destiny Crow; niece, Sarah Sturdy and sister, Deborah Sturdy.

Funeral service was Friday, May 1 at Cornerstone of Nashville in Madison, with Pastor Deanna Walls officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Crow was Thursday, April 30 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and Friday, May 1  until service.

Catherine Gaskill, 85, Mt. Juliet passed away May 2. 

She is preceded in death by: husband, William L. Gaskill; parents, Joseph David and Ruby V. Beard; brothers, W. H. Beard and Harry Beard; and sister, Cynthia Ford. 

She is survived by: children, Jerrie Dawn (Charles Wilson) Dedmon, Vickie (Carlton) Mercer, Steven (Alicia Bennett) Gaskill and Raymond L. (Susan) Gaskill; brothers, Thomas Gilbert Beard and George Beard; sisters, Christine Sullivan, Carolyn Blankeship, Connie Corley and Janice Tabor; grandchildren, Wendy Kristine Jones, Stacey Renea Smith, Charles Jason Dedmon, Aspean L. Johns, Ashlee Bennett, Kaylee Orrand, Raymond L. Gaskill, Jr., Justin T. Gaskill, and Jonathon C. Gaskill; great-grandchildren, Sierra Kirsten Gentry, Sidney Faith Smith, Kristofer Allen Jones, Kloe Johns, Ariana Brown, Liam Parker Perdew and Gavin J. Gaskill; and great-great-grandchildren, Bralynn Nevaeh Aavatsmark and Truman Ben Gentry.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and at noon at Gladeville United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Youngman officiating. Interment will follow the service at the church at Williamson Memorial Gardens with Jason Dedmon, Timmy Smith, Justin Gaskill, Jonathon Gaskill, Kristofer Jones, and Kris Brown serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Tuesday, May 5 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Wednesday, May 6.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Louis Biagio Panicci, 53, Old Hickory passed away April 17. 

Panicci is preceded in death by his wife Julia Bianco Panicci. 

He is survived by: parents Luigi and Pat; sisters, Donna and Kim; brother-in-law, David; niece, Angels; nephew, Brandon, Billy, Jesse and Zach.

John Lanier Young, 76, Castalian Springs, died April 29. 

Young was a member of First Baptist Church of Gallatin. He attended Mississippi College, Vanderbilt University and Seminary in Kentucky. Young had served a Band Director at Dupont High School and as Principal at Neely Bend School and Gra-Mar Elementary School. He had also served as Minister of Music at Inglewood Methodist Church for 15 years and at Old Hickory Presbyterian Church. Young loved sailing and participated and won awards in the 1969 Tennessean Regatta. He was the son of the late, William Pryor and Ethel Mae Duran Young. Young was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Fudge.

He is survived by: wife, Gail Hollon Young; children, John (Nevada) Young, II of Murfreesboro, Jennifer (John) Ly of San Antonio, Texas, Jeanette (Rick) Young of Philadelphia, Penn.; step-children, Charles (Rhonda) Hagar, Jr. of Mt. Juliet, Terrie (Boyd) Fudge of Mt. Juliet, Sherrie (Byron) Hicks of Nashville,  K. Lynn (Danny) Russell of Hartsville; siblings, Dr. W.D. (Teresa) Young of Waynesboro, Miss., Delcie (George) Opalak of Greenville, SC;13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren (with another one due in August 2015); cousin, Sam Young of Goodlettsville. 

Funeral services were Saturday, May 2, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Dr. Larry Yarborough, Jr. officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Randolph, David Randolph, Riley White, Kenny Russell, Clint Friar and Murray Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were the Choir and the Good Shepherd Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Gallatin.
