Wallace Jones, 86, passed away Saturday, April 4. 

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 7 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family is Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7 until time of service.

Wallace was born Oct. 14, 1928 in Centerville, to the late Irvin and Emma Davidson Jones. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Jones; sister, Lorrine Cathey; brothers, Leonard, Reece and Charles Jones. He is survived by children, Nancy Russell, Lloyd (Jamie) Jones and Janice Jones; sisters, Helen Cathey, Caroline Creech and Georgie Spencer; grandchildren, Noelle, William, Eric, Brandon, Joshua, Robert, Rebecca, Celina, Jessica and Barry; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ethel A. Morris, 94, of Mt. Juliet, died April 3. 

Morris was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a 1938 graduate of Waite High School. She also graduated from Warner Beauty College. Morris was employed by Gabrelean Salon and Libby Owens Ford during WWII. She also worked at two bakeries owned by her father. Morris was the daughter of the late, Albert and Anna Hess Meyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Thomas Evans Morris; her children, Karen Shepherd Swann and Jon Morris and her brother, Elmer Meyer.

She is survived by: daughters, Sharon (Ray Goodrich) Morris and Debra (Keith) Gray; grandchildren, Tom Shepherd, Todd Shupp, Josh Goodrich and Von Doran; great-grandchildren, Brock, Tara, Cody, Trevor, Valerie, Alyssa, Malayna, Denver, Alice and Violet.

Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Toledo Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sujkowski Funeral Home, 114-128 E. Daniel Robertson, 41, Mt. Juliet died  April 2.  

He is preceded in death by father, Dan Robertson and step father, Butch Jarrell.  

He is survived by: wife, Katrina Robertson; children, Sierra, Zoe, Jacob and Samuel Robertson; mother, Barbara Jarrell; sisters, Deborah Hickman and Patty Harvey; and brother, Bobby Lee Robertson.  

Funeral services were held Monday, April 6, at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Road, by Wendell Byrd.  Interment Whitworth Cemetery, Christiana.

Geraldine Smith, 79, Mt. Juliet passed away March 30. 

She is preceded in death by: parents, Shirley and Vinie Nabors; sister, Margaret Cowan and daughter, Pat McClendon. 

She is survived by: husband, Robert Smith; daughter, Donna Smith; sisters, Frances Hunter, Hilda Bennett, Betty Nabors and JoAnn Smith; son-in-law, Doug McClendon; grandchildren, Angela Thomas and Robert D. McClendon; great-grandchildren, Hayley Thomas, LeeAnn McClendon, Laura McClendon and Austin McClendon.

Visitation with the family was Wednesday, April 1 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and Thursday, April 2. Graveside services were Thursday, April 2 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Doris Hughes Gustavesen, 86, Mt. Juliet, and formerly of Stony Point, NY, went to be with her Lord on March 21. 

Doris was born Aug. 1, 1928 in Pottsville, Penn. to the late Homer and Helen Hughes. She was a member of Celebration Lutheran Church as well as an active volunteer and member of various organizations in the community. Doris leaves those closest to her with fond memories of her love of life, cooking, playing the piano and her strong devotion to God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold “Gus” Gustavsen; brother, James Hughes, granddaughter, Jessica Boone Graeff and son-in-law, Dennis Martin.

She is survived by: daughters, Diane Gustavsen and Debbie Martin; sons, Richard (Mary) Gustavsen and Robert (Kristin) Gustavsen; sister, Dr. Jean (Ed) Banks; brother, Robert (Judy) Hughes; grandchildren, Steven Graef, Scott Graef, David Martin, Daniel Martin, Christopher Gustavsen, Mark Gustavsen, Kevin Gustavsen, Erick Gustavsen Noemi, Matthew Gustavsen, Nicole Gustavsen, Colby Gustavsen and Alexis Gustavsen; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends; cherished dog and companion, Teddy.

Funeral services were Monday, March 30, at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
