Chad Hampson, 28, Hendersonville, passed away Sept, 10.  

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Jonas Taylor is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept, 16. in the in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, followed by interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westmoreland.

Mr. Hampson is survived by brothers, Ryan Hampson (Tiffany), Stephen M. Hampson, Ivan Locke, Kelly Thompson and Holly Andujar; father, Stephen Hampson (Eileen); nephews, Gage Hampson, Gavin Hampson, Gabriel Hampson, and Xander Hampson; and niece, Zoe Hampson.  He is preceded in death by mother Patsy Stafford, grandfather Carl Stafford, and uncle Danny Stafford.  Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, (615)444-9393.

Mr. William “Bill” M. Colson was born on Aug, 23, 1942, and passed away Sunday, Sept, 20.

Proceeded in death by mother, Hazel Caldwell Colson; father, George Malcom Colson; step-mother, Ethel Lee Colson; and sister, Betty Ann Mitchell.

Bill graduated from Peabody Demonstration School in 1960 and worked for the Tennessean and Nashville Banner papers for 20 years. 

He has been an Auctioneer and Realtor for 40 years and began Bill Colson Auction and Realty Company in 1974. Bill started Nashville’s first public Auto Auction and has sold everything from real estate and autos to fighting chickens. He served on the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission, the Tennessee Auctioneers Association, National Auctioneers Association, and Middle Tennessee Auctioneers Group. Bill was inducted into Tennessee Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame in 2000. He was a member of McWhitersville Masonic Lodge #375, York Rite, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, and of Al Menah Shriners.

Bill is survived by wife of 53 years Katherine Little Colson; sons, Walter (Susan) Colson and Marc (Nikki) Colson; daughter, Kimberly K. Colson; brother, Bobby Colson; grandchildren, Kate Colson, Abbie ( Austin) Knobloch, Jet (Kayla) Colson, Austin Colson, Riley Colson, Jillian Colson, Grant Colson; and great- granddaughter, Thea Colson and last, but not least his faithful four-legged companion, Ella.

Pallbearers for Tuesday’s memorial service included Amon Ringemann, Feller Brown, Walter Hunt, Jerry Gregory, John Ewing, and Paul Jones. Honorary Pallbearers included Tennessee Auctioneers Association.

Danny Lee, 73, Mt. Juliet, passed away on Sept, 10. 

Mr. Lee was born in Johnson City, on June 1, 1942.  He was a graduate of Lamar High School and of East Tennessee State University.  He served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy from 1960-1964.  He began his insurance career as an underwriter with Nationwide Insurance in 1967.  He moved to Wilson County in 1976 and began working at Corroon and Black, eventually becoming CEO of PENCO, a division of Willis, before his retirement in 1997.  After retiring, he started his own agency, Aargus Insurance Services, in Lebanon.  Mr. Lee was also very active in his church, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, Sunday School Director, Finance Director, and many other roles throughout the years.  He was also involved with Gideons International.  

He is preceded in death by his parents: John M. and Cora Tester Lee and brother: Ronald Lee.  

He is survived by sons, Wayne K. (Janet) Lee of Mount Juliet, and John K. (Tiffany) Lee of Lebanon; brother, Tom (Claudia) Lee of Jonesborough, TN; grandchildren (“Pop Pop”), Warren, Connor and Carter Lee, and Kellen and Chloe Lee; niece, Jenny (Peter) Deranzio, and nephew Tom (Tamitha) Lee. 

Funeral services  were Tuesday, Sept, 15 n the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Rodney Duckett and Bro. Eltis Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Lebanon, or another charity of choice.

“Bob” Stilts, 86, of Lebanon, died Sept, 11. 

Bob was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Gallatin. His first job was working on the L&N Railroad. During Bob’s lifetime he was also employed in the construction industry, by Dupont and as Operations Manager for S&S Industries. He loved Tennessee Walking Horses and cattle farming. 

Bob was the son of the late, John Horace and Delia McCoin Stilts. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, John Horace Stilts, Jr., Helen Nave, Hazel Radar, Becky Hancock, Treva Chumley, Geneva Stilts, Linda Slaughter and James Stilts. 

He is survived by wife of over 30 years: Virginia “Gennie” Davis Stilts, daughters Paulette (Tony) Franklin, Donna (James) Ramsey, Debra (Bob) Prather, Lyndee (Bryan) Harlan and Katie Stilts, brothers: Ken (Mary Jo) Stilts, Jerry Stilts and Buddy (Nancy) Stilts, sister: Peggy (Ed) Trombley, grandchildren: Austin (Carla) Franklin, Rebecca Franklin, Timberlee Ramsey, Jim (Heather) Ramsey, Robert (Kerri) Felts, Lindsay (Alan) Bell, Joey Brakefield, Jason (Michelle) Harlan and Kaylyn (Jesse) Nelson

great-grandchildren: Grace, Lilly and William Franklin, Jay and Jacob Ramsey, Emmie, Quinn and Sydney Felts and Eric, Sammie, Ian, Roman, Keagan and Ethan Bell

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bishop Wendell Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as active and honorary pallbearers.
