Visitation was Tuesday, April 15 with Funeral Mass following at St. Stephens Catholic Community with Father Kibby, celebrant.

Cody Ryan Conder, 27, Hermitage, died April 9. 

Cody was a 2004 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a graduate of Vol State Community College. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Sweeney.

He is survived by: parents, Bruce and Rita Sweeney Conder; brothers, Kyle Conder and Casey (Lindsey Purnell) Conder; grandparents, Rose Sweeney, Herman (Louise) Conder and Dorothy (Raymond) Davis; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter, 115 Industrial Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. 

Visitation was Saturday, April 12, at Bond Memorial Chapel, 1098 Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN.

Doris Alene Fulton, 94, Nashville, died April 10. 

Fulton was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late, William E. and Grace Mae Sampson Helliwell. Mrs. Fulton was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Funk.

She is survived by: sister, Betty-Jane Clark; niece, Grace V. Feeck; nephew, James A. Harmon, Jr.

At Mrs. Fulton’s request, her remains will be cremated. No services are planned.

Guy Hatley, Jr., 79, Mt. Juliet, died April 13. 

Hatley was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was employed by AT&T for 29 years. Hatley was the son of the late, Guy Hatley, Sr. and Myrta Willis Hatley. He was also preceded in death by two infant brothers.

He is survived by: wife of 53 years, Lona Lee Dailey Hatley; son, Guy Travis Hatley; daughters, Gina Nanette Bolek, Lisa Susette Remus, Tina Colette Barton, Julie Milette Taylor, Shelley Lynette Lee and Nicole Yvette Lawing; grandchildren, Morgan Ling, Natalie Ling, Stefan Remus, McClaine Remus, Chloe Barton, Jordan Taylor, Jada Taylor, Isabella Lee, Kiersten Lee, Pierce Lee, Jillian Lee, Annaliese Lee, Nicholas Lawing, Mallory Lawing, Kaitlynn Hatley and Conner Hatley; sister-in-law, Linda Dailey.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Shannon officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN.

Linda Hurst Locke, 57, Hermitage, died April 8. 

Locke was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church. Since graduating from Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary, Mrs. Locke served as youth director in Tifton, Georgia and Somerville, TN. She has served as Christian Education Director since 1998 at Hermitage United Methodist Church. Mrs. Locke was preceded in death by parents-in-law, Reeves and Mary Priscilla Locke.

She is survived by: husband of 23 years, Joseph Reeves Locke, Jr.; parents, Stanley A. and Camilla Hurst; sisters, Betty (Steve) Hurst and Nancy (Harold) Delaney; brothers-in-law, J. Parker (Lydia) Locke and Rev. Mark (Donna) Locke; sister-in-law, Priscilla (Rev. Mike) Daniels; nieces and nephews, Ben Delaney, Sarah Camp, Jesse Delaney, Rachel Lantz, Aaron Daniels, Rob Locke, Will Locke, Nathaniel Locke, Jonathan Locke and Alexis Daniels; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, April 11 at Hermitage United Methodist Church, 205 Belinda Drive, Hermitage, TN with Rev. Allen Black officiating and Saturday, April 12 at First United Methodist Somerville, 202 S. East Street, Somerville, TN with Rev. Michael Pilcher officiating. Interment followed at Somerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers wre Goochie King, John King, Ty Camp, JesseDelaney, Bill Walker and Walker Thornton. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Sands, Paul Henri, Brad Stephens, Joey Parker, David Cowan, Dylan Burk, W.A. Smith and Jim Turner.

In lieu of flowers, for those who choose, memorials may be made to Asbury University, 1 Macklem Drive, Wilmore, KY 40390 or Asbury Theological Seminary, 204 N. Lexington Avenue, Wilmore, KY 40390.  

Visitation was Thursday at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet, TN and prior to service time Saturday at First United Methodist Church Somerville, TN.
