Ann Schuetze, 88, Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Dec. 24.  

Schuetze was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schuetze and her son, James Schuetze. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by: daughters, Marlene Denson and Theresa (Rod) Holter; grandchildren, Andrea Cox, Sharon Douglas and Bob Douglas; four Great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 29 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1003 Hickory Hill Lane, Hermitage, TN with Pastor Ken Enko officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alan Rather, Mike Marks, Bob Stinnett, Nick Enko, Zac Enko and Paul Meadows.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1003 Hickory Hill Lane, Hermitage, TN 37076.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Bond Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to service time Sunday at the church.

Raymond Lanier Unland, born Jan. 8, 1951, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3 after a long illness. 

He was the son of Helen Elizabeth Unland Henshaw and Richard Elwood Unland Sr. and stepfather, Luther (Luke) Henshaw. 

He is survived by: son, Caleb Nathaniel (Kelsey) Unland; Michelle Wade, his devoted companion; granddaughter, Ivey Marie Unland; siblings, Richard Elwood (Karen) Unland, Jr., Mt. Juliet, Mary Paul (Tommy) Haglage, Richmond, Ky., William Otto (Barbara) Unland, Naples, Fla., Jean Unland Green, Mt. Juliet; stepsister, Joan Henshaw Young, Nashville. 

Unland graduated from Mt. Juliet High School, class of 1970. 

Memorial service is planned Jan. 4, 10:30 a.m. at St Stephen Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, Nashville.

Ann Waynick, 79, Mt. Juliet passed away December 26, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Andrew J. Waynick, III; and mother, Mary Kennedy. She is survived by daughter, Kim Upham; son, Jerry Waynick; and granddaughter, Tiffani (Blake) Arthur.

A graveside service was Sunday, Dec. 29 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Bro. Doy Holman officiating. Visitation with the family was Sunday, Dec. 29 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Sally Rider Eldred, 76, Antioch, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Murfreesboro. 

Sally will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, her laughter, her artistic talent, her raised eyebrow and her steadfast support of her husband and children. 

She is survived by: husband, Reverend Chaplain Timothy Lee Eldred; daughter,  Vickie Lee (Ted) Frels; sons, Darryl J. Eldred and Michael K. (Tom Patterson) Eldred; grandchildren, Dane (Terry) Frels, Nicole Frels, Joshua (Ansley) Eldred and Noah Eldred; great-grandchild, Reed Frels; sisters, Lois Rider (Jim) Newkerk and Marilyn Rider (Michael) Weaver; sisters-in-law, Pamela J. (David) Moore and June G. (Cecil) Cairns; brother-in-law, Peter T. (Penny) Eldred; numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 15 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Law Enforcement Mission Fund, 209 Pepper Ridge Circle, Antioch, TN 37013.

Charles G. Hamilton,  85, Goodlettsville passed away Dec. 12. 

Hamilton was preceded in death by: parents, Charles and Lottie Mae Hamilton; and daughter, Patsy Kent. 

He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Beverly Hamilton; sons, Charles Hamilton, Jr. and Gary Alexander; daughters, JeVonna Davis, Wendy (Robbie) Waters, Lana (Bill) Beavers and Dana (Dwight) Kenerson; brother, Donald Hamilton; sisters, Arbutus Hopkins and Phyllis (Junior) Bratten; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 16 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Randy Stoecker officiating. A private entombment was Tuesday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family wasMonday, Dec. 16.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alive Hospice.
