She is survived by: husband, Ray Russell; daughters, Lily Russell and Lizzy Russell; parents, Frederico and Mary Jane Potot; sisters, Mary Fe, Marites, Jackie, Mary Ann, Mary Rose and Mariel; father-in-law and Mother-in-law – Joe and Debbie Shipley.

Funeral services will be conducted in Honolulu, HI with burial at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, HI.

Crystal Barrett, 24, Lebanon, died Feb. 8. 

Crystal was born with a life threatening illness on Jan. 2, 1990 in DeKalb, Ga. She was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church of 10 years. Crystal was a 2009 graduate of Lebanon High School and was taking college courses online to further her education. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Lynn Barrett. The family asks that you remember them in your prayer. Crystal will be missed by her many family members and friends.

She is survived by: half-brother, William Connor Barrett; grandmother, Lucille McEver Barrett; aunt, Billinda Lee Barrett; cousin, Toni Katharine Barrett; fiance’, Dustin Breece.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 25 at Silver Springs Baptist Church, 9938 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Rev. Russ Stephens officiating.

Alyssa Renee Buford, age 15, Mt. Juliet, and formerly of Bakersfield, Calif., died Feb. 18. 

Alyssa was baptized at Our Father’s House Community Church but also attended Cooks United Methodist Church and Central Pike Church of Christ. She was a freshman at Wilson Central High School. She was artistic and loved to write. Alyssa showed compassion for others and was often “a champion for the underdog”. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Roger Buford; paternal grandfather, Ron Johnson and great-grandparents, Carl and Betty Pattison.

She is survived by: mother, Renee (Ron) Abraham; father, Dale Buford; sisters, Lauren Miller and Brandy Deeds; grandparents, Riley and Peggy Keester, Rosemary Balaz Gene and Judy Abraham; niece, Rileigh Deeds; nephew, Revin Peterson; several aunts and uncles; boyfriend, Dillon Anderson.

Funeral services were Sunday, Feb. 23 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Blake Nicodemus officiating. Interment  followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Riley Keester, Gene Abraham, Ron Johnson, Dillon Anderson, Gavin Quaedvlieg and Jimmy Jean-Philippe.

The family requests that you dress in casual attire for the visitation and the funeral service.

Dovie Mae Bush, 81, Mt. Juliet, died Feb. 23, 2014. 

Bush was an active member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ for the past 12 years. Prior to moving to Mt. Juliet to be with her grandkids, she was a long time member of the Orange Avenue Church of Christ in Eustis, Fla. Bush worked for many years at Harden Early Childcare at Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School. She was the daughter of the late, John and Nevada Russell Cantwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Bush; infant son, Ivan Douglas Bush; brothers, Richard, Carl, Glenn, General, Calvin and Lewis; sisters, Irene, Vinitta and Reva. Bush’s life was centered around her commitment and service to Jesus; she set an example of how to live a Christ filled life. She was a helper, a giver, an encourager, a hugger, and a forgiver; always gracious and kind. Gram’s, as she was known to the family, was a cherished mother and grandmother who valued quality time with her loved ones. 

She is survived by: daughter, Pam (Curtis) Jordan; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Austin, Dylan, Ondria and Caleb.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Bond Memorial Chapel with David Shannon and Frank Jordan officiating. Interment will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Fla. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible School, 301 W. 13th Ave., Mount Dora, FL 32757.

Sue Campbell, 60, Mt. Juliet passed away Feb.  19. 

She is survived by: father, James Prickett; mother, Ruthie Boone; children, Tina Grimm, Rory Campbell and Savannah Campbell; grandchildren, Emily Humphrey, Garrett Brown, Paul Grimm, IV, Austin Campbell, Madelynn Hambelton and Lee Hambelton; great-granddaughter, Willow Zakrzewski; unborn great-grandson, Jackson Brown; son-in-law, Billy Hambelton; numerous extended family members and beloved dog, Lucy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 1 from 9-11 a.m.
