James Massey, 90 Hermitage, passed away Feb. 14. 

He is preceded in death by: parents, Sam and Lona Massey; brothers, Frank Massey and Richard Hamblin; and nephew, Eddie Ross. 

He is survived by: niece, Benita Harris; nephews, Kevin Hamblin and Ray Ross; sister-in-law, Shirley Hamblin; great nephews, Trey and Benjamin Harris; and great-great-nephew, Gabriel Harris. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Billie Friel officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ballentine Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Tuesday, Feb. 17 from and Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Susan Violet Glinski, 72, Mt. Juliet, died Feb. 5. 

Susan was the daughter of the late, Lawrence and Lorna Mae Schaefer Rezash. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Rezash.

She is survived by: husband, Kenneth L. Glinski; son, Robert K. (Cynthia) Glinski; daughters, Margaret Ann (Patrick) Brodie and Jennifer Jo (Todd) Antz; brothers, Lawrence Rezash, Robert Rezash and Joseph Rezash; grandchildren, Anthony Barnes, Meagan Brodie, Elizabeth Brodie, Brandon Brodie, Meredith Antz, Allison Antz, Lyla Glinski and Campbell Glinski

A celebration of the life of Hattie Childers Morris was Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1105 Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and resided most recently in Madison and Ridgetop. Brother Ken Castleberry and Brother Bobby Webb of Parkway Baptist Church officiated. 

The family of Morris received friends Friday and Saturday with the service following. Morris was born in Winfield Dec. 27, 1920 to Millard E. and Martha Ann Childers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James B. Morris, Sr.; her son, James B. Morris, Jr.; her parents; her siblings, Harrison (Goldie), William (Bill) and Jim Childers, Dora June Butler, Betty Rose (Herman)King and Mattie Burress. 

She is survived by: her children, Linda (David) Scott, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Morris, and Cindy (Kyle) Frederick and her daughter-in-law Susan Morris; her brothers, George Childers, Louie (Barbara) Childers; brother-in-law Ira Burress; sisters-in-law, Mary Helen (Sis) Brown, Lela Childers and Ann Childers; her grandchildren, Laura (Adam) Boyd, Jarod (Ioana) Scott, Lindsay (Nick) Tate, Sara (Chad) McNatt, Martha (Donnie) Cooper, Molly (Alaric) Boyd, Will (Betsy) Morris, Casey James Owens, Michael Frederick and Jesse Dallas Frederick; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Everett Jarod (EJ) and Kaylon Scott, Hunter and Mackenzie Boyd, Colin and Evan McNatt, Briley and Isabella Cooper, Ariahna and Eden Rose Boyd; many loving nieces, nephews and other family members. 

Her grandsons served as pallbearers. They are Jarod Scott, Will Morris, Casey Owens, Jesse Frederick, Adam Boyd, Nick Tate, Chad McNatt, Alaric Boyd and Michael Frederick. 

Morris was a full-time homemaker and mother most of her life. She enjoyed her family, friends, her church, cooking, crotcheting, needlework and gardening. She was raised on a farm in Winfield. Before her marriage, she worked as a restaurant managers, as a riveter in an airplane factory, and also in a factory in Oak Ridge. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Alive Hospice Residence of Nashville, Maristone at Providence and also Maybelle Carter Senior Living Community for their care and service to Hattie and her family.

Linda Carol Adams, 69, Mt. Juliet went peacefully to be with her Savior Jan. 29. 

Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Together with her husband they established Prototype Graphics in 1980 and worked side by side daily until 1995. It was then that she became an employee of TrustCore and truly found her second family, remaining there until her retirement in 2014. She was a long-time member of Donelson church of Christ and leaves behind many friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Franklin Fuqua, Jr.; her beloved husband of 44 years, John Adams, Jr.; and son, John Lawrence “Larry” Adams. She is survived by mother, Rena Kirby Fuqua; brother, Steve Fuqua; son, Bret (Kelly) Snow; and grandchildren, Jacob and Taylor Snow.

Funeral services were Sunday, Feb. 1 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Russ King officiating. Interment followed the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1 prior to the service.

Brent Blackard, 58, Mt. Juliet passed away Jan. 26. 

Blackard was a graduate of the University of Indiana and a sales representative for WEX/Fleet I. Preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Genevieve Blackard. 

He is survived by: sons, Scott Blackard, Rodney Blackard and Sean Blackard; daughter, Lindsay Blackard; and numerous cousins.

Visitation with the family was Thursday, Jan. 29 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
