Ann Waynick, 79, Mt. Juliet passed away December 26, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Andrew J. Waynick, III; and mother, Mary Kennedy. She is survived by daughter, Kim Upham; son, Jerry Waynick; and granddaughter, Tiffani (Blake) Arthur.

A graveside service was Sunday, Dec. 29 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Bro. Doy Holman officiating. Visitation with the family was Sunday, Dec. 29 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Sally Rider Eldred, 76, Antioch, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Murfreesboro. 

Sally will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, her laughter, her artistic talent, her raised eyebrow and her steadfast support of her husband and children. 

She is survived by: husband, Reverend Chaplain Timothy Lee Eldred; daughter,  Vickie Lee (Ted) Frels; sons, Darryl J. Eldred and Michael K. (Tom Patterson) Eldred; grandchildren, Dane (Terry) Frels, Nicole Frels, Joshua (Ansley) Eldred and Noah Eldred; great-grandchild, Reed Frels; sisters, Lois Rider (Jim) Newkerk and Marilyn Rider (Michael) Weaver; sisters-in-law, Pamela J. (David) Moore and June G. (Cecil) Cairns; brother-in-law, Peter T. (Penny) Eldred; numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 15 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Law Enforcement Mission Fund, 209 Pepper Ridge Circle, Antioch, TN 37013.

Charles G. Hamilton,  85, Goodlettsville passed away Dec. 12. 

Hamilton was preceded in death by: parents, Charles and Lottie Mae Hamilton; and daughter, Patsy Kent. 

He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Beverly Hamilton; sons, Charles Hamilton, Jr. and Gary Alexander; daughters, JeVonna Davis, Wendy (Robbie) Waters, Lana (Bill) Beavers and Dana (Dwight) Kenerson; brother, Donald Hamilton; sisters, Arbutus Hopkins and Phyllis (Junior) Bratten; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 16 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Randy Stoecker officiating. A private entombment was Tuesday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family wasMonday, Dec. 16.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alive Hospice.

Larry Thomas Harvill,  70, Old Hickory passed away Dec. 9. 

Harvill was employed at E. I. DuPont for 24 years and was a member of the Old Hickory Bunch. Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 13 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. David Shannon officiating and Jason Shepherd assisting. Interment followed the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family was Thursday, Dec. 12 and prior to the service Friday, Dec. 13.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Thomas C. and Grace J. Harvill; and siblings, Donald Harvill and Jean Harvill Harris. 

He is survived by: his wife of 41 years, Sue Marlow Harvill; sons, Thomas Alan Harvill and John Fredrick Harvill; cousins, Jerry and Mary Ann Williams; sister-in-law, Peggy Woodfin Harvill; nieces and nephews, Dianne H. Blair, Brenda H. Piercey, Don W. Harvill, Jr., and Angela H. Gentry; and several great nieces and nephews. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Healing Hands International or Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.

John D. Hoover, 75, Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Dec. 10. 

Hoover was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Community. He was preceded in death by: his brother, Michael Hoover; sister, Cathleen Brown and grandchildren, Nicholas Farley and Jennifer Farley Hunt.  

He is survived by: wife of 53 years, Charleen Hoover; children, Jay (Kim) Hoover, Mark Hoover, Charyl Hoover (Tim) Farley, Trish Hoover (Stephen) Aud and Christopher (Christina) Hoover; brother, Glen G. (Joyce) Hoover; 12 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass was Saturday, Dec. 14 at St. Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN with Father Pat Kibby officiating.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or St. Stephen Catholic Community.

Visitation was at St. Stephen Friday ending with a Vigil service.
