Juanita Kee, 98, Hermitage, died Oct. 11. 

Kee was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late, Lawrence and Nora Ward Chumney. Mrs. Kee was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Hayes Kee.

She is survived by sons Ben Frank (Deborah Warren) Kee and Jimmie M. (Angela Holmes) Kee, grandchildren, Cynthia Kee (Jea) Khoury, Robert Hayes Kee, Kelley Kee (Robert Felton) Mikell, James Alan Kee and Kathryn Kee (Patrick) Cline

great-grandchildren Claire Catherine Mikell, Abigail Ann Mikell, Meredith Jingyi Cline, Rebecca Kay Spann and Caroline Parker Spann

A Memorial service will be conducted 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15,  at the Willard Harris Blue Memorial Chapel of McKendree Village, 4347 Lebanon Road, Hermitage. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Lexington City Cemetery, Lexington, Tenn.

Grady Jenkins, 78, passed away Oct. 8.

He is preceded in death by wife, Judie Jenkins; parents, James and Lucy Jenkins; 6 siblings. He is survived by son, Lance (Heidi) Jenkins; daughter, Lisa (Doug) Richardson; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers Clayton & Wilson Jenkins. Rita Goins, 68, Antioch, died Oct. 9. Rita was the daughter of the late, Joseph D. and Pearlie Lacy Parks. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joey Parks. Rita was an extremely devoted employee and was retired from Lochinvar. She was an avid square dancer, a Predators fan and an excellent photographer. Rita was very independent, giving and fiercely loyal to her family and friends.

She is survived by brothers Robert Parks and Michael Parks, sister Marsha Sauriol, nieces and nephews Deanna, Chris, Lauren, Sarah, Collin, Joelene, McCabe  and Casey, several great-nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be held in November and details of that service will be announced at a later date.

Robbie Tate, 54, Lebanon, passed away on Sept. 28.  

The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, was 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.  

Tate is survived by her daughter Christie Moore (Bruce), mother, Robbie Bly Canada, brothers, Raymond W. Earl Lawrence, 78, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on the evening of Oct. 1, surrounded by his family. 

Known by friends as “The Crappie King” and to family as “Papa,” Earl was born in Hayesville,  on June 20, 1937 to Ira Lawrence and Edna Hires Lawrence.  He married his sweetheart, Patricia Ann Medley, on Nov. 17, 1956 in Rossville, Georgia.  He was a humble, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  Before retirement, he exhibited his hard work ethic while employed for 40 years by Third National/Sun Trust Banks.  He was an avid crappie fisherman with a heart for fishing, Vanderbilt Commodores, farming, hunting, and family.  He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, giving, and compassion.

Earl was preceded in death by parents, Ira and Edna Lawrence; sister, Minnie Murl Lawrence; and daughter-in-law, Vicky Lawrence. Earl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Lawrence; brother, Gerald Lawrence (Faye); three children, Retired Colonel Steve Lawrence, Lisa Wright (Bill), and Teresa Pulliam; his grandchildren, Ryan Lawrence, Ashley Lawrence, Jason Tucker, Shaun Tucker, Anna Wright, Whitney Wright, and April Kring (Shawn); great-grandchildren, Landon Lawhorn and his little buddies, Carter, Caleb, and Caden Kring.

The service took place on Oct, 5 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral home in Mt. Juliet. The Funeral Service, officiated by Randy Cook,  was followed by interment in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Colonel Steve Lawrence, Ryan Lawrence, Jason Tucker, Shaun Tucker, Shawn Kring, and Jerry Glenn Lawrence.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Bill Wright, Carter Kring, Caleb Kring, and Caden Kring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in loving memory of daughter-in-law, Vicky Lawrence.
