Douglas Coleman Wright, 81, died June 29. 

He is survived by loving wife of 58 years Marjorie Wright; son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Jan Wright; grandsons Cole and Conner Wright; sisters-in-law Jolene Wright and Betty Wright and longtime pet Fluffy. 

Services were Wednesday, July 2 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Clariday and Rev. Gary Speich officiating. Interment was held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with family was Tuesday at Hermitage Funeral Home, (615)889-0361.

Ann Elizabeth Calvetti, 93, Mt. Juliet, died June 26. 

Calvetti attended St. Stephen Catholic Community. She was the daughter of the late, James G. and Helena Archdeacon Bent. Mrs. Calvetti was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Cal” Calvetti; daughter, Chris Belland and 6 siblings.

She is survived by: son, James J. Calvetti; daughter, Mary Ann (Bill) Hoover; grandchildren, Dustin Belland, Nick Belland and Sara Hoover; niece, Eileen Crowley.

No services are planned. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.

Sara Austin Nausley Cheney, 80, Hermitage, died June 29. 

Cheney was a member of Central Christian Church and was recently attending Tulip Grove Baptist Church. She worked with her husband at Vol State Insulation Company until their retirement in 1995. Mrs. Cheney is the daughter of the late, Rolla Austin and Sarah Josephine Allen Nausley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Leavitt Cheney. 

She is survived by: children, Sara (Alton) McConnell, Tom (Cathy) Cheney, Jr., Dorothy Dailey and John (Connie) Cheney; grandchildren – Sara VanEffen, Jenea Primm, Tom, Taylor, Trevor and Torrey Cheney and Becky, Katie and Grace Braswell; great-grandchildren, Olivia Allenand Jaden Johnson and Nathan VanEffen.

Cryptside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Cheney, Taylor Cheney, Trevor Cheney, Torrey Cheney, Don Koop and Kevin Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, 404 East Main Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.

He is survived by: wife of 26 years, Brenda Hobby Clinton; mother, Lorene Spann; three children; step-daughter, Candy Pentecost; brothers, Kenneth Clinton, Eddie Wayne Clinton, Larry Clinton and Jerry Clinton; sisters, Brenda Duke and Connie Elliott; grandchildren, Amanda Pentecost and Autumn Pentecost; great-granddaughter, Rosalinda Pentecost.

Hubie G. Stephens, 71, joined his heavenly father on June 25, while in Freehold, NJ. 

He was born Sept. 21, 1942 in Sparta, Ga.  He was the son of the late Henry G. and Mary M. Stephens of Sparta, Ga. He is survived by his siblings Henry Stephens, Simpsonville, SC and Abigail Eaton, Old Bridge, NJ, his wife of 47 years, Sharon Stephens, sons Todd Stephens (Wendy) Phoenix, Az, Brian Stephens, Nashville; daughter, Cara Burgener (Bo) Olathe, Kan., four grandchildren, Natalie and Trevor Stephens; Avery and Ryder Burgener.

He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1966. He served 24 years in the military retiring as Lt. Commander from the US Public Health Service. He retired from the State of TN Air Quality Control after serving 20 + years. He loved to laugh, fish, garden, and sing in the choir. He volunteered for Habit for Humanity and various church activities. He was a life-long Christian and an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 1, at Victory Baptist Church. Memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Victory Baptist Church.
